Susan Pulley, Ayurveda therapist and instructor, is back at the studio for more practical (and popular!) Ayurveda workshops 

 

In this workshop you will learn about Vata, Pitta & Kapha, and how to recognize their appearance in our physical characteristics, habits, strengths and weaknesses.

According to Ayurveda, there are 7 main constitutions (mind-body types). Each body type requires different foods and lifestyle. Knowing your body type is a powerful tool to improve your health.

We will discuss:

•How to recognize in yourself Vata, Pitta & Kapha
•How to recognize if you are out of balance in any of these 3
•How to create balance using food, spices, seasonal and daily routines, home remedies and yoga.
•Our emphasis will be on nutrition

About Susan

Susan is the founder of ATMA Ayurveda (Amsterdam), where she specializes in creating personalized wellness plans using the powerful Ayurvedic tools of nutrition, lifestyle, herbs, yoga and other Ayurvedic clinical treatments and bodywork, such as channel cleansing massage and marma therapy.  

Susan studied and practiced Ayurveda at the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico with Dr. Vasant Lad and Dr. Claudia Welch. She has a life-long enthusiasm with self-exploration, and is delighted that yoga practice is the perfect vehicle for this. After all, every time you come to your yoga mat there is a meeting of the mind and body—providing fertile ground for transformation!
